About ME

I have always had a passion for helping others. In 2020, I graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University with a Bachelor's in Social Work. During that time, I did a service project to help a family in Haiti get safe, clean drinking water instead of having the children miss school to get their family clean, healthy water. I also interned at the Mitzvah Circle Foundation, where I would send families who needed additional support school supplies, clothes, diapers, and toiletries.
Graduating during the pandemic was not easy. I had to learn to adapt and figure out ways to still help people while at my internship. It was not until 2022, when I was finishing my Master's Degree in Management that I decided to become a Substitute Teacher for the Interboro School District. This was when I realized that shaping students' futures is what I was meant to do.
I went back to get my certification at Eastern University, where I got to sit in and observe many classrooms ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade. I was also able to work in a 7th-grade ELA Classroom for 3 months and learn more about the IEP Process, ensuring I was meeting every student's needs alongside other teachers and parents.
At the start of the 2024 school year, I was a Student Teacher at Tinicum Elementary School. I got to experience the daily life of a teacher, such as facilitating data-driven instruction, keeping an accurate attendance report, and creating student-centered projects relevant to our unit.
